If you have no funds, open trading positions, or orders in your account, go to Step 3.
Note: Once your account is closed, you will no longer have access to our platform and will not be able to place trades or retrieve any information from the trading platform. Make sure you have downloaded any data you may need for tax purposes.
1. Close any remaining open trading positions and cancel any pending orders.
2. Withdraw any remaining funds. Please note that it may take some time for proceeds from sales to be credited to your brokerage account. Note: Refer to the withdrawal instructions if you are unsure how to do this.
3. Retrieve your account statements and any other required reports. Note: All reports needed for your tax return can be found in the “Documents” tab of the Webull app. We recommend saving a copy of your statements and trade confirmations for your records.
4. Close your account via the Webull app: • Tap 'Menu' • Tap 'Settings' • Tap 'Manage Brokerage Account' • Select 'Close Brokerage Account'
Closure requests are processed and completed within 1 to 3 days.
